The Digitrax DH165IP is a HO scale Series 3 (Plug-N-Play) mobile DCC decoder — 1.25A continuous / 2A peak motor control, 6 function outputs with Digitrax's FX7 lighting effects engine.
Drop into the matching Kato HO socket — no soldering, no harness. Sound-Bug compatible (with separate wiring) for future sound conversion.
Fitment: Kato HO EMD SD70MAC and other modern Kato HO locomotives with the matching DCC interface. Plug: Integrated DCC Medium Plug (built into the decoder PCB — no harness).
Standard Digitrax features: 14 / 28 / 128 speed steps, advanced consisting, 4-digit addressing, configurable Back-EMF speed regulation (BEMF), FX7 transition rate / period CVs, transponder ready, fully NMRA DCC compliant.
