Circuitron 6100 is the RTM Remote Tortoise Mount — a molded base mechanism that lets you locate your Tortoise switch machine up to 18" away from the turnout it controls. An adjustable lever arm on the Tortoise output drives a stainless-steel wire inside a flexible Teflon tube (like a sub-miniature choke cable) to a compact actuator beneath the turnout. The points-actuating mechanism includes a spring wire and brass tube and only needs 1/2" of sub-roadbed clearance. Fully adjustable for all scales and brands of turnouts. Tortoise machine not included.
