Description
The Circuitron 5604 ER-1 External Relay with SPDT Relay is a small SPDT (single-pole double-throw) relay driver module that interfaces directly with any Circuitron detection circuit output — for switching extra AC or DC loads (turnout machines, layout lighting, fans, etc.).
What it does: Provides a 2 A SPDT relay with all driver circuitry built in — can be connected straight to the output of any Circuitron Block Occupancy Detector, Grade Crossing Detector, or auto-reverser. Use the relay contacts for automatic train control (power-off on block ahead), layout-lighting automation, or to switch heavier loads than the detection circuit can drive directly.
