Description
Circuitron 5102 is the FL-2 Alternating Flasher circuit board, designed to drive prototypical alternating crossing-signal flashers. It accepts a trigger input from any Circuitron grade-crossing detection circuit, or it can run continuously or with a panel switch. The FL-2 powers either incandescent grain-of-wheat lamps or LEDs (with proper current-limiting resistors), supporting up to 250 mA per output — enough for 3–4 lamps or 10–15 LEDs per side. Only one FL-2 is needed per road crossing regardless of how many tracks intersect. Built on a 1.5" x 3" printed circuit board.
