Stock cars moved cattle, hogs, sheep and horses between farms, ranches, stockyards and packing plants for generations, on branch lines and main lines alike. Broadway Limited brings back its HO scale 40' wood stock car, based on a Chesapeake & Ohio prototype and adapted for each road, with nameplates and number boards accurate in shape, size and location for the railroad it represents.
This sound-equipped car carries motion-activated livestock sound: as the train starts to move, or the car is gently jostled, realistic hog sounds come to life, with intensity that varies naturally with motion. Sensitivity and volume adjust with the included magnetic tool, and the sound works on both DC and DCC layouts (it isn't DCC-controlled).
