Stock cars moved cattle, hogs, sheep and horses between ranches, stockyards and packing plants for generations, on branchlines and mainlines alike. Broadway Limited's N scale stock car is based on the Pennsylvania Railroad K7A design, adapted to a range of popular road names. The sound-equipped cars carry motion-activated livestock sound — cattle or hogs come alive as the train starts to move, with intensity that varies with motion and sensitivity and volume adjustable with the included magnetic tool.
