Description

The legendary E8 and E9 locomotives represent the grand finale of the iconic “E-Unit” passenger diesel series built by Electro-Motive Division. Following the tremendous success of the E7, these streamlined beauties quickly became favorites among major railroads across North America. The E8 delivered 2,250 horsepower from twin 12-cylinder 567B engines. The Paragon4 version delivers synchronized sound, user-adjustable smoke where applicable, and GoPack capacitors; DC and DCC compatible out of the box.
