Description
Union Pacific’s Northern-type locomotives were built by ALCO’s Schenectady Works in three classes between August 1937 and December 1944. The Paragon4 version delivers synchronized sound, user-adjustable smoke where applicable, and GoPack capacitors; DC and DCC compatible out of the box.
Industry-leading model features: Paragon4 Sound · ROLLING THUNDER · Integral Dual-Mode Decoder with Back EMF for superb slow speed operation · Synchronized steam sound · Variable-intensity user-adjustable smoke · Heavy die-cast body and chassis · Metal handrails and stanchions · Premium painting with prototypically accurate schemes and road numbers · Metal Kadee-compatible couplers (2).
