Description
Union Pacific’s Northern-type locomotives were built by ALCO’s Schenectady Works in three classes between 1937 and 1944. The FEF-3 represents the pinnacle, with 77-inch drivers and a 300-psi boiler that gave UP one of the most powerful 4-8-4 locomotives ever built. This #842 model wears the Ornate Fantasy paint scheme. The Paragon4 version delivers synchronized sound, user-adjustable smoke where applicable, and GoPack capacitors; DC and DCC compatible out of the box.
