Description
Conrail No. 9 began life in 1954 as Pullman-Standard dinette CN 428, came to Conrail in 1982 and was rebuilt at the Reading Shops in 1984 into the railroad's executive theater car; CSX's "W. Thomas Rice" carries the same role on today's CSX business train. Broadway Limited's first HO run offers both prototypes in era-specific configurations, unlettered primer-gray versions of each body type, and GTW, KCS "Arthur E. Stillwell" and Wisconsin & Southern schemes — with Touch Control lighting that switches interior and exterior lights on with a fingertip.
