The USRA Heavy Mikado shared its running gear with the Light Mikado but carried a boiler ten inches larger in diameter and bigger cylinders, good for roughly 10% more tractive effort. 233 were built under the USRA and 957 more were copied, serving 23 railroads. Broadway Limited's 2026 N scale run covers CB&Q, Milwaukee Road, NYC / P&LE, a Christmas 2026 scheme and an unlettered version.
This version: USRA Heavy Mikado, MILW 352, No-Sound / DCC-Ready. The Stealth Series version is a No-Sound / DCC-Ready model that runs on DC out of the box, with a factory-installed speaker and a Next18 interface so you can drop in the sound decoder of your choice; front and rear lights are directional, other lights are on with track power.
