The Broadway Limited Imports 8656 is an N scale 4-6-6-4 "Challenger" articulated steam locomotive in Union Pacific excursion livery — road number #3985 — in BLI's Stealth Series (DCC-Ready, no factory sound, 8 Ω speaker pre-installed).
Prototype: UP Challenger #3985 is one of the most famous preserved steam locomotives in North America — a 4-6-6-4 articulated built by Alco in 1943 for Union Pacific. After main-line retirement, she was returned to service in 1981 as part of UP's Heritage steam program and operated excursions across the system until 2010. The Challenger family was UP's fast-freight workhorse over the Sherman Hill grades.
