The Broadway Limited Imports 8497 is an N scale PRR M1B 4-8-2 "Mountain" type steam locomotive — painted but unlettered (custom-decal-ready) — in BLI's Stealth Series (DCC-Ready, no factory sound, 8 Ω speaker pre-installed).
Prototype: The Pennsylvania Railroad M1 / M1A / M1B 4-8-2 Mountain-type fast freight + dual-service steam locomotive was a 1923–1930 design for fast-freight Pennsylvania mainline service. M1B = post-1944 rebuilt subclass with modified front-end throttle. 60-inch drivers gave them respectable mixed-traffic speed. Painted unlettered version is perfect for modellers who want to apply their own custom decals.
