The Bowser 44184 is an HO scale ready-to-run RoadRailer in the Swift Transportation scheme, road number #460086 — a dry-van RoadRailer trailer with pad-printed ends, sides and mud flaps and a silver roof.
Swift Transportation operated its own RoadRailer trailers in Triple Crown service, later selling many of the units to Triple Crown itself — which is why ex-Swift trailers also appear in TCSZ lettering in this run.
RoadRailers are bimodal highway trailers that ride directly on rail bogies, coupling to each other through a tongue and running as a solid unit train with no flatcars or spine cars underneath. Bowser's HO models couple the same way: each trailer links to the next, and a single Bowser #40300 CouplerMate (sold separately) is placed at the head of the string to couple the RoadRailer train to your locomotive — only one is needed per train.
