Description
Step back to the very dawn of American railroading with the DeWitt Clinton. In 1831 this pioneering little train made its historic run on the Mohawk & Hudson Railroad between Albany and Schenectady, New York — one of the first steam-powered passenger trains in the United States, with coaches that looked exactly like the stagecoaches they replaced.
Bachmann's HO scale DeWitt Clinton set recreates this landmark train with a charming early steam locomotive, tender and stagecoach-style passenger cars. The complete, ready-to-run set includes an oval of Bachmann's snap-fit E-Z Track® with integrated roadbed and a power pack with speed controller — a wonderful display piece and conversation starter as well as a fully operating model railroad.
