Built by the thousands in the 1930s and 1940s, 2-bay offset-side hoppers moved coal from mine tipples to power plants, steel mills and ports across North America. Cambria & Indiana served the bituminous coal fields of western Pennsylvania, and this car is lettered for C&I as #1822.
