Description
Atlas 775 is an HO scale pack of 12 telephone / utility poles — the three-arm wooden pole that ran beside every railroad right-of-way in North America for a century, carrying the dispatcher's code-line and the local telephone circuits. Each pole has a moulded base that can be glued or pinned to the layout deck. One pole in each set carries an extra streetlight bracket, so the pack covers both rural lineside runs and urban street lighting.
Poles are moulded in an appropriate weathered-wood colour; light dry-brushing brings out the grain detail. Run them in a straight line along the right-of-way, or use the streetlight pole as a focal point at the corner of an Atlas #706 Passenger Station or #763 Drive-In Bank.
