Description
Atlas 721 is an HO scale kit for the Middlesex Manufacturing Company — a four-storey brick factory based on a well-known 1883-built New Jersey landmark that stayed in production right through into the 1990s. Eight chimney stacks, a loading dock, a freight elevator tower, boxcar doors at the rail dock, an exterior entry stairway, and optional bricked-up window blanks and roof vents give the kit the layered "additions over a century" look of a real industrial survivor.
Parts are moulded in red brick styrene with separate window frames and door castings; printed window glazing and signage are included. The structure occupies a substantial footprint suited to a layout's industrial back-of-the-shelf area, where it can serve as a destination for an Atlas boxcar and a switching focus. Pairs naturally with the Atlas #750 Lumber Yard, #760 Roadside Restaurant, and the #763 Drive-In Bank to build out an entire industrial-edge town.
