Description
Atlas 63 is the right-hand version of Atlas's Code 100 manual snap-action switch machine — the side-mounted spring throw that converts an unpowered turnout into a hand-thrown switch you can operate with a fingertip. The unit's mounting orientation aligns it with the points of a right-hand turnout.
The machine clips onto the side of an Atlas Code 100 Snap-Switch or Custom-Line turnout, replacing the stock spring throw. An over-centre spring holds the points firmly against either rail, so manually flicking the lever toggles the route and locks it in place — no power, no electrical wiring. Best for yards, industrial sidings, and shelf layouts where every switch is within arm's reach. Pair with #62 for left-hand turnouts; for remote (powered) operation see the Atlas under-table twin-coil machines #65 (standard) and #66 (with SPDT auxiliary contact).
