Description
Atlas 598 is a 12-piece set of HO scale Code 83 wood-style end ties, sized to slip onto the rail ends of Atlas Code 83 flex track. When you trim flex-track to length, the moulded tie strip stops short of the cut by 5–6 ties; these end-tie pieces fill that gap so rail joiners sit on properly supported tie sections and the visible break between track segments disappears.
The ties match the spacing, colour, and tie-plate detail of the standard Atlas Code 83 flex-track strip. Each tie clips into place; no glue is required. Compatible only with Atlas Code 83 rail (will not gauge correctly on Code 100, Code 75, or Code 70). Pairs with the Atlas Code 83 turnouts (#562–#566, #595–#596) and Code 83 platform crossings (#571–#577).
