Description
The Atlas 572 is an HO Code 83 Snap Track 19° crossing — the standard sharp-angle diamond crossing for yard ladder intersections, multiple-track interchange points, and any place two tracks cross at a moderately shallow angle.
Where 19° fits. Slightly steeper than the 12.5° #571, slightly shallower than the 25° #573. The standard "second-shallowest" diamond angle, used where the geometry just doesn't quite land on 12.5° or 25° — typical at yard throats where multiple ladder tracks converge, at small interchange points between two railroads sharing trackage, or in dense industrial trackwork.
Build. Code 83 nickel-silver rail on brown molded ties, insulated frogs on both diagonals so the gauntlet can be wired independently.
