The Atlas 563 is an HO Code 83 #6 Custom-Line Mark IV left-hand turnout — the mainline-grade turnout, the right choice for through-route operation, passing sidings, and any junction where 20-25 scale-mph diverging speed matters.
#6 geometry. 1-in-6 frog ratio ≈ 9°30′ frog angle, ~25 mph scale speed through the diverging route — the standard frog size for industry sidings off the mainline, branch-line junctions, and passing siding ends. Wider than a #4 (Atlas 561/562), narrower and shorter than a #8 (Atlas 565/566).
