Description
The Atlas 554 is an HO Code 83 9-inch straight terminal track with wire, one pair — a pre-built 9" Snap Track straight section with feeder wires already soldered to the rails, ready to drop into your mainline at the feeder location.
The faster way to feed power. Instead of fitting a terminal joiner (Atlas 553) at a regular rail joint, the #554 lets you skip the joiner work entirely — the feeders are already attached, the rail is already polished, the joint is already made. Plug into the bus at the connection point, drop the section into the gap, and you have power. Each pair gives you two pre-wired 9" straights, enough to feed two power districts or to drop power at both ends of a small layout.
Same standard track. Code 83 nickel-silver rail on brown molded ties — identical to Atlas 520 except for the pre-attached feeder wires. NMRA-compliant railhead, pre-fitted joiners on the free ends.
