Description
The Atlas 545 is an HO Code 83 right-hand 22-inch radius Snap-Switch manual turnout — the right-hand mate to Atlas 544 (LH 22" manual), with the same wider 22" diverging radius that lets 6-axle diesels and 80-foot passenger cars take the curved route without overhang grief.
Geometry. 22" radius diverging route matched to Atlas 535 (22" curve, 6pc) and 537 (22" 1/3 section). A 1/3 22" radius section is pre-attached to the curved leg so the exit equals a full 22" arc when joined to standard track. Plastic insulated frog — simple wiring, no short-circuit risk on DC or starter DCC.
Manual throw lever is the standard Atlas above-benchwork lever; swap to remote with Atlas 65/66 if you want electric control later. Right-hand mate of #544 makes a clean LH/RH pair at a passing siding or yard ladder where wide-radius geometry matters.
