Description
The Atlas 533 is an HO Code 83 Snap Track 18-inch radius half section curved track, four-pack — 15° arcs at the same 18" radius as the full #532 section, for curve easements, length trimming, and turnout pickups.
Where the 15° arc earns its keep. Building a 195° approach into a yard ladder, easing the transition from a straight into a curve, fitting an S-curve between two parallel mainlines — none of those land cleanly on 30° boundaries. The 15° half section bridges the gap. It's also the right piece to add after an 18" Snap-Switch turnout (Atlas 541/543) whose diverging leg already includes a 1/3 18" radius section — adding a 533 brings the curve up to a full 18" arc length.
Construction. Code 83 nickel-silver rail, brown molded ties with centerline nail holes for #2540 track nails, pre-fitted rail joiners. Geometry exactly matched to #532 full sections.
