Description
The Atlas 525 is an HO Code 83 Snap Track 2-inch straight filler section, four-pack — the middle-ground adjuster between the 1.5" #523 and the 3" #522, useful when neither shorter nor longer lands the geometry cleanly.
Where it fits. Once you've fit your full-length 9" sections and your 6" half-lengths, the gap left over is usually somewhere between 0 and 4 inches. The 2" filler covers the case where a 3" piece would overshoot but a 1.5" piece would undershoot. It's particularly handy on yard ladders where successive turnout offsets stack up and the cumulative drift needs a 2-inch correction at the end of the ladder.
Code 83 nickel-silver rail on brown molded ties matches the rest of the Atlas Code 83 system. Each piece ships with rail joiners pre-fitted and centerline nail holes molded into every tie for #2540 track nails.
