Description
The Pullman-Standard PS-1 was the best-selling boxcar of the postwar era — tens of thousands of these welded 40-footers were built from 1947 onward and they became the face of general merchandise railroading across North America. Grand Trunk Western, Canadian National's Michigan-based U.S. subsidiary, rostered PS-1s for everything from auto parts to general freight in the industrial Midwest.
This Atlas Master Series N scale model is finished for Grand Trunk Western as road number #516852, with accurate prototype paint and lettering, free-rolling trucks, and body-mounted AccuMate® magnetic knuckle couplers.
