Description
True-Track is Atlas's HO Code 83 sectional track system with integrated gray plastic roadbed molded to look like ballast. Sections snap together with positive locking tabs; no separate cork or foam roadbed is needed underneath.
The Atlas #454 is a four-pack of 2-inch (5.1 cm) straight True-Track Code 83 sections — the middle short straight in the True-Track lineup, useful for fine-tuning section lengths between the #453 (1.5") and #452 (3") sections.
How to use
- Connect to other Atlas True-Track Code 83 sections via the integrated snap-lock roadbed joiners.
- Use Atlas #498 transition track to connect to plain Atlas Code 83 flex or sectional track.
- Pin or glue with track nails or latex caulk; ballast edges with Woodland Scenics Fine Ballast.
- Pair with #452 (3"), #453 (1.5"), and #460 (18" curve) for complete True-Track layout planning.
