Fairbanks-Morse followed its Loewy-styled H15-44 with an uprated 1,600-hp version, retaining the distinctive opposed-piston power plant and raised-profile carbody that set FM's road switchers apart in the late 1940s and 1950s. Ohio's Akron, Canton & Youngstown was a loyal Fairbanks-Morse customer, dieselizing almost entirely with FM road switchers; this model depicts AC&Y #202.
The Atlas Master Series N scale H16-45 pairs crisp, road-specific tooling with a smooth dual-flywheel mechanism. This Silver edition runs on DC and is DCC-ready and sound-ready with a factory-installed speaker, so you can drop in the decoder of your choice.
- Atlas Master Series N scale tooling
- Directional LED lighting
- Blackened metal wheels and body-mounted couplers
- SILVER: DCC-ready, sound-ready with factory speaker
