GE's U33B of 1967 packed 3,300 horsepower from the FDL-16 into a four-axle U-boat, instantly recognizable by the flared radiator wings at the rear of the hood. The Delaware & Hudson rounded out its roster with secondhand four-axle GEs in the late 1970s, running them in its handsome blue and grey; this model depicts D&H #2924.
The Atlas Master Series N scale U33B pairs crisp, road-specific tooling with a smooth dual-flywheel mechanism. This Gold edition arrives with a factory-fitted ESU LokSound decoder for rich, prototype-specific GE sound on DCC and DC layouts.
- Atlas Master Series N scale tooling
- Directional LED lighting
- Blackened metal wheels and body-mounted couplers
