Description
The Atlas #32553 is the official cleaning-disc replacement set for the Atlas N-scale Track Cleaning Car. The rotating disc bites into stubborn oxide and graphite that a passive pad can't lift — and like all consumables on a working cleaning car, it needs replacing on a schedule.
How to use
- Remove the spent discs from the cleaning-car bottom assembly and snap the fresh ones into place.
- Use dry for mechanical scrubbing, or run with a few drops of Wahl Clipper Oil or alcohol for chemical cleaning.
- Replace when the disc edge dulls or you see continuous black buildup transferring to the rails.
- Pair with the #32552 Cleaning Head replacement set if your car uses both head and disc.
- Run the cleaning car at the head or tail of a normal operating consist.
