Description
The Atlas #2841 is an N-scale small-town railroad passenger-station building kit — the kind of modest, single-story brick or frame depot that sat at every wayside stop on every railroad branch line. The kit includes the station building proper, a full passenger platform, plus the small-detail clutter that brings the scene to life: a baggage cart, a hand truck, and a freight scale.
Plastic parts are precision-molded in appropriate colors; window glazing is included. Water-transfer decals are included to letter the station with the town name of your choice.
How to use
- Solvent-cement assembly with standard plastic cement (not included).
- Station footprint: 3.24" × 2.34"; platform: 3.24" × 1.25" — fits inside a 4" trackside scenery strip.
- Apply the water-transfer decals (included) to letter the station gable with your chosen town name.
- Pair with Atlas #2848 N Maywood Station for variety along the same line, and with the #2850 hairpin fence for platform edge detail.
- Add a warm-white LED interior light for atmospheric night running.
