Description
The Atlas #2791 is the under-table Motor Drive Unit that converts the Atlas #2790 N-scale manual turntable into a powered one. The geared drive mounts directly to the underside of the turntable pit and rotates the bridge between Geneva-lock positions automatically when you pulse 12-16V AC accessory power.
How to use
- Designed exclusively for use with the Atlas #2790 N-scale turntable — not compatible with other turntables.
- Mounts to the underside of the turntable pit; powered from a 12-16V AC accessory tap (do not feed continuous DC — the motor is intended for momentary AC pulses).
- Use a momentary push-button or DPDT center-off switch to step the bridge to the next indexed position (15° per step).
- The factory Geneva indexing mechanism in the #2790 keeps each stop dead-aligned with the radial track.
- Pair with the Atlas #2843 N 3-Stall Brick Roundhouse for a complete N-scale engine terminal.
