Description
The Atlas #2752 is a left-hand No.6 frog turnout from the N Code 80 Custom-Line range — gentler diverging angle than the #4 (#2750/#2751), better suited to mainline crossovers and passenger / modern intermodal traffic. Full-length ties give a more prototypical visible-mainline appearance vs the Standard-Line range.
Nickel-silver Code 80 rail on moulded black ties with wood-grain detail. Double-ended throw bar lets you place the under-table switch machine on either side. Designed for the Atlas Under-Table Switch Machine (#65) or a Caboose Industries ground throw. The #6 frog (1-in-6 / ~9.46°) is the same geometry as the Standard-Line #2704/#2706 but in Custom-Line styling.
How to use
- Connect track rails with Atlas Code 80 rail joiners (#2535).
- Mount an Atlas Under-Table Switch Machine (#65) below the throw bar on either side.
- Or use a Caboose Industries 220S ground throw for visible-yard prototype operation.
- Pair with #2753 (RH #6 Custom) for facing-point mainline crossovers; or use the #4 Custom (#2750/#2751) for tighter yard ladders.
- Best for: visible mainline crossovers, foreground passenger junctions, where the longer Custom-Line ties improve the look.
