Description
The Atlas #2750 is a left-hand No.4 frog turnout from the Custom-Line range — Atlas's N Code 80 turnout with full-length ties and a double-ended throw bar, designed for under-table switch machine operation. Unlike the Standard-Line #2700-series (which has shortened ties to make room for a side-mounted switch machine), the Custom-Line ties extend the full width, giving a more prototypical appearance.
Nickel-silver Code 80 rail on moulded black ties with wood-grain detail. The throw bar extends to both sides of the turnout, so you can place the under-table switch machine on either side — handy for trackplans where the under-table linkage needs to fit between joists or around scenery. Designed to work with the Atlas Under-Table Switch Machine (#65), or with a Caboose Industries ground throw for hand operation.
How to use
- Connect track rails with Atlas Code 80 rail joiners (#2535).
- Mount an Atlas Under-Table Switch Machine (#65) below the throw bar on either side of the turnout.
- Or use a ground throw (Caboose Industries 220S) for manual operation — looks more prototypical on a visible yard.
- Pair with #2751 (RH #4 Custom) for double-track crossovers; or use #2752 (LH #6 Custom) for gentler mainline geometry.
