Description
The Atlas #22136 is a 100-piece pack of N scale 33" low-profile blackened metal wheelsets sized to drop into Micro-Trains® freight-car trucks (and other N trucks using the same axle length).
33" wheels are the standard prototype size for most North American freight cars built since the 1950s. Low-profile flanges are designed for finer track such as Atlas Code 55 and Micro Engineering Code 55 / Code 40 — they clear the closer-spaced detail spike heads while still safely tracking on Code 80 / Code 100. Blackened metal tread reduces glare under layout lighting and improves electrical conductivity for lighted cars.
100 wheels per pack equips 25 trucks / ~12 cars. Replaces plastic-wheel sets supplied by Micro-Trains and many Atlas N freight cars; needle-point axle ends ride smoothly without lubrication.
