Description
A pair of Atlas N scale Bettendorf-style freight car trucks molded in gray. The Bettendorf cast-steel truck with solid (friction) bearings was the standard under North American freight cars from the 1920s through the 1960s — the correct choice under 40' boxcars, older hoppers, gondolas, flats and steam-era equipment of nearly every road.
Use these as replacements for damaged or stiff-rolling trucks, as upgrades for older cars, or as running gear for kitbashing and scratchbuilding projects. The gray color suits weathered, in-service equipment or can be painted to suit.
