Description
The Atlas #220 Controller is the reversing companion to the #215 Selector — a wiring unit with two cab DPDT polarity reversers plus a switchable reverse-section block that either cab can take control of. The simplest way to wire and operate reverse loops, wyes, and turntables on a DC-powered cab-control layout.
Couples directly with #215 Selectors (and with #210 Twins) using the included double-edged jumper connectors — no inter-unit wiring required. The two mainline reversers swap polarity of an entire cab feed; the reverse-section switch lets either cab take and reverse a tricky section without breaking train flow.
Like all Atlas wiring components, the Controller predates DCC but remains the go-to manual reverse-loop solution where an automatic reverser isn't warranted.
