Description
The Atlas #210 Twin is a classic Atlas wiring control unit — a pair of internally cross-wired DPDT (double-pole, double-throw) switches that gives you independent polarity control at two pairs of output terminals. Designed for cab control of reverse loops, wyes, turntables, and short reversing sections on DC-powered model railroads.
The Twin is part of Atlas's long-running Selector / Controller / Twin family of analog wiring blocks. Multiple Twins can be ganged together with the included double-edged jumper connectors — no extra wiring required between units. The screw-terminal housing accepts #3-48 screws and is fully compatible with Atlas spade-tongue solderless connectors for fast hookup.
While the Twin is fundamentally a DC analog accessory, modellers running DCC frequently use it as a manual polarity switch on small reversing sections where an auto-reverser would be overkill.
