Description
The Atlas #2091 is a 24-pack of insulated rail joiners for Atlas N Code 55 track. They look identical to regular rail joiners but are molded from non-conductive plastic — electrically isolating one section of rail from the next, which is essential for block-power wiring, frog isolation on turnouts, and DCC reverse-loop boundaries.
24 pieces per pack. Black plastic, fits the same concealed-joiner profile as regular Atlas Code 55 metal joiners.
How to use
- Use to break a track section into electrically isolated blocks for cab-control DC wiring.
- Install both rails at any DCC reverse-loop or wye boundary to define the auto-reverse zone.
- Use to isolate turnout frogs for live-frog/dead-frog wiring options.
