Description

The CP 'Script' herald — the flowing 'Canadian Pacific' script lettering — was applied to CP boxcars from the late 1920s through the mid-1940s. The base car is the CP Minibox: 50-ton steel boxcars built 1929-1930 by Canadian Car & Foundry, Eastern Car, and National Steel Car as a transitional design between ARA 1923 and 1932 standards. Atlas's HO Master Series captures the prototype in the early Script scheme with road number #404544.

Detailed with separately-applied ladders and brake hardware, Youngstown-style doors, factory AccuMate® couplers.

How to use

  • Runs on any HO scale Code 83 or Code 100 track; minimum recommended radius 18".
  • AccuMate couplers swap directly with Kadee #5/#148.
  • Era: 1929-1940s — the earliest CP scheme on the Minibox roster, perfect for steam-era CP scenes.
  • Collect all three Script road numbers (#243120, #404394, #404544) for an early-era CP boxcar set.
  • Pair with CP 'Stepped' (#20007898-900) and 'Spans the World' (#20007895-97) for multi-era CP boxcar fleet.
