Description

Between 1929 and 1930, builders including Canadian Car & Foundry, Eastern Car Company, and National Steel Car built 7,500 50-ton steel Minibox boxcars for Canadian Pacific — a transitional design between the ARA 1923 and 1932 standards, unique to CP. They lasted in revenue freight service until 1983. Atlas's HO Master Series captures the prototype in CP's classic 'Spans the World' herald scheme, road number #241170.

Detailed with separately-applied ladders and brake hardware, Youngstown-style doors, factory AccuMate® couplers.
