Description
Companion road number #7682 to the 20007809 in Texaco TCX livery. The 8,000-gallon “Beer Can” tank car was a short, stubby petroleum-service car common on North American railroads in the mid-20th century.
Atlas’s Master Series 1:87 HO model wears classic Texaco black with the red Texaco star. Detail includes etched-metal walkways and platform, separately-applied wire grab irons and handrails, accurate underframe and brake gear, free-rolling 33″ turned-metal wheelsets, and body-mount AccuMate-style magnetic knuckle couplers.
How to use
- HO Code 83 or Code 100 track; minimum radius 18″.
- Couplers Kadee-compatible and pre-installed.
- Pair with #7667 (20007809) for a matched Texaco two-car set, or with other Atlas tank cars for a unit petroleum train.
