The 8,000-gallon “Beer Can” tank car earned its nickname from its short, squat proportions reminiscent of an early aluminum beer can. Atlas’s Master Series captures the prototype in 1:87 HO scale, finished in classic Texaco TCX black with the iconic red Texaco star, road number #7667.

The model features etched-metal walkways and platform, separately-applied wire grab irons and handrails, accurate underframe and brake details, free-rolling 33″ turned-metal wheelsets, and body-mount AccuMate-style magnetic knuckle couplers.
