Every accurate model starts as a photograph or a paragraph someone else took the trouble to record. Reference books are the least glamorous thing on a modeller's bench and usually the item that settles the argument — whether a scheme carried that stripe in that year, how the yard was actually switched, what the enginehouse looked like before the roof came off.
BRMNA publishes railway reference and history titles for modellers and enthusiasts. Today's Steam, catalogued here as BRMNA 68, covers steam-era subject matter and is the sort of book that ends up beside the workbench rather than on a shelf.
Prototype reading does not care what gauge you work in. The same photograph informs an N scale scene and an HO one, and it is as useful for weathering a car as for deciding which locomotive belongs on the layout in the first place. This is a small-press listing, so ask if there is a BRMNA title you are after that is not shown here.
