Description
The Tracksetta OOT24 is an etched stainless-steel template used to guide flexible track when laying a 24" (610 mm) radius curve in OO/HO. By holding the rails in a true curve while you spike, glue, or clip the track down, it eliminates the kinks and uneven joints that are the single most common cause of derailments on hand-laid layouts.
How to use it
- Lay your flex track inside the template's slot.
- The notches accommodate the sleepers/ties so the template sits flat on top of the track.
- Pin or glue the track to your roadbed; lift the template off once secure.
- Reusable indefinitely — one of the cheapest tools that pays for itself the first time you use it.
