Description
The NCE 5240305 Snubber (RC Filter) is a DCC track bus noise suppressor, sold as a 2-pack. It works with any DCC system, not just NCE.
What it does: Long runs of DCC track bus wire can pick up voltage spikes and ringing that distort the DCC signal. A snubber across the bus damps those spikes, helping protect decoders and curing intermittent problems like temporary loss of control, runaway locomotives, or decoders losing their programming.

- Install: One across the two rails / bus wires at the far end of each long track bus run (the booster end already has its own filtering)

Tip: A snubber is a fix for noise problems, not a substitute for good bus wiring. If your layout runs cleanly you may not need one; if you have several long bus runs, plan on one per run.
