The NCE 5240110 HO Scale SW9-SR Drop-In DCC Decoder with 3 EFX is a drop-in DCC decoder for Life-Like Proto 2000 HO SW switchers — SW8, SW9, SW900, and SW1200. Designed specifically to eliminate slow-speed motor hum and buzz.
What it does: Direct factory-board replacement for the Life-Like Proto 2000 SW-series switcher light board. 3 EFX (three lighting-effect outputs) for prototype switcher lighting. Built to eliminate the annoying motor hum and buzz at slow speeds that some early Proto 2000 chassis exhibit on DCC.
