Built in 1953, these 65-foot mill gondolas were designed to haul finished structural steel shapes and other bulky loads, with drop ends that allowed loads longer than the car itself. Lone Star Steel of Lone Star, Texas specialized in tubular steel pipe for the petroleum industry. Black with white lettering.
