Description
Roll a classic Santa Fe reefer block onto your N scale (1:160) layout with this ATSF 4-pack of 40' steel ice reefers, road numbers 12458, 13230, 13241 and 13405. These RR-51-class cars featured air-circulating fans to ensure uniform temperatures throughout the car. Built in 1928 as wood-side reefers, they were rebuilt to modern standards — including new riveted steel sides — by Santa Fe in 1952. Orange and black with black lettering.
